About Us
Ireland's Publishing Show
Ireland’s Publishing Show is a leading author conference — a place where writers, publishers, and industry professionals come together to learn, connect, and grow. With two days of inspiring talks, practical workshops, networking events, and a vendor showcase, the show is designed to give authors of every stage the tools and confidence to take the next step in their publishing journey. From marketing strategies to craft insights, from industry trends to community building, we bring together experts and peers in an intimate, welcoming environment that celebrates the spirit of independent publishing.

Our Story
Ireland’s Publishing Show began with one spark of inspiration.
When organiser Siobhan Purcell won a scholarship from Craig Martelle to attend 20Books Vegas, she discovered how life-changing it was to learn directly from experienced authors in a supportive, hands-on setting. The friendships she made and the knowledge she gained planted a seed: she wanted to create a similar space in Ireland, but smaller, warmer, and rooted in community.
Siobhan knew the voices she wanted on stage, the venue that would feel right, and the way she wanted the show to flow — but she also knew she couldn’t do it alone. That’s where her daughter, Jade, stepped in.
Behind the scenes, Jade became the full engine of the event: building the website, managing social media, designing visuals and swag, coordinating emails, and pulling every detail together.
What started as one conference quickly grew into something bigger than they imagined. The success of Ireland’s Publishing Show inspired them to create The Indie Network — a wider community where authors can come together, support one another, and continue learning beyond the conference itself. Through conferences, writing retreats, online groups, and a resource hub, The Indie Network is building a lasting home for independent authors in Ireland and beyond.
